About this item

Pendant Light by Carl Thore for Granhaga Lights, Sweden 60s

Beautiful pendant lights from Sweden.

Actually, the real name of the designer of this lamp is Sigurd Lindkvist who used Carl Thore as a pseudonym. He designed this light as a part of his Travas (which means stack in English) collection. When looking at this lamp it is clear why it is called stack: the lamp is made of different “stacked” brass disks. We have two, they differ a little in color.

All our lights are checked and tested. Because of the lower voltage standard in the USA (110v vs 220v), European lighting can be safely used in the USA. If a lamp has a plug, only the plug needs to be replaced. We can change the plug on request if desired. Ask us for possibilities.
