Brown metal adjustable floor lamp by H. Busquet for Hala Zeist. Made and designed in the 1960’s.

This lamp has a clever balanced construction. It has a heavy foot with a pole on it. The pole rotates on a ball joint, so it can be placed in any angle. It has a brown metal shade which is also adjustable. On the shade you will find the switch.

Beautiful minimalistic Dutch design from the Mid-Century. The floor light in good and working condition.

Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin Busquet (1914-1977) was a Dutch industrial designer. He worked as a design director by Hala in Zeist. Hala specialized in sustainable luminaries of tube metal and rod iron and are known for their Sun Series (Zonneserie).
