Beautiful floor lamp from Raak. The floor lamp features a glass globe on a metal stand. Because the globe rests in the stand, it can positioned in various angles. The metal stem is adjustable in height.

Raak was a Dutch lighting manufacturer from the mid-century. They created many great lighting object with designers like Nanny Still-Mackinney, Tapio Wirkkala, Bertrand Balas, Maija Liisa Komulainen, Sergio Asti and more.

A dutch classic in good condition.


Frank Ligtelijn

Franck Ligtelijn (1933-1996) became part of the design team at Raak in the early 1960s. He is the creator of the minimalist Globe 2000 Floor Lamp (1961). This can be named Raak’s most celebrated design. Franck Ligtelijn designed a series of Globe lamps, including pendants and desk lamps to complement the floor lamp.
