About this item

Daybed or sofa model 4311 by the famous Danish mid-century designer Børge Mogensen. This early piece was designed by Mogensen and produced by Fredericia in the 1950's.

This is actually quite a rare edition of the daybed. Two versions existed: model 4311 and 4312. The 4312 version had two back cushions while the 4311 had a single one. The 4312 is more common. Our sofa is an authentic 4311. This is proved by the sticker underneath the sofa, which describes the sofa as model 4311.

The sofa has an oak frame with the original cushions and new green fabric. The cushions are in good condition and have springs inside. We decided to keep the original "spring cushions" since there is nothing wrong with them and we would like to keep the original feeling and design of the furniture maker.
