Visser designed this lounge chair in 1969 when he was working for Dutch furniture manufacturer ’t Spectrum. This is the high back edition with brown leather cushions. It has a tubular metal frame. The chair was designed together with a low back lounge chair and sofa for the Dutch stand at the World Expo of 1970 in Osaka Japan. This is why it was given a Japanese name.
