About this item

The famous lounge chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. The chairs has black leather cushions and a black painted rosewood shell.

This chair is a marked original and quite a rare example from the 3rd generation. The 3rd generation was only produced between 1971 and 1974. We determined the chair is from the 3rd generation because of the following details can be found:

- 2 arm screws
- Screw in Ottoman Feet
- Plastic Back Mounts
- Black Cushion Clips
- 5 Ply Build
- Rosewood
- Rectangular Herman Miller Label

The right arm rest has been re-upholstered because it was teared.
