Albert Stoll

In 1872 Albert Stoll started the chair company Stoll in Koblenz, Switzerland. In 1919 his son was in charge and from then on, they only produced office chairs. In 1926 they invented the first office chair with a spring called "spring swivel". In 1928 they changed the company name to Giroflex which means swivel and bend. From 1964 they designed four ergonomic office chairs, which were designed by Arno Votteler and Dr. Etienne Grandjean.
