About this item

Beautiful minimalistic rosewood, metal and glass coffee table by A.R. Cordemeyer for Dutch mid-century furniture maker Gispen. Designed and produced in 1959.

This is a super rare edition of the Model 3637 coffee table. Normally they were delivered with two glass plates, but our example was ordered with a custom rosewood magazine shelf by former owner. This is something you won't see often with Gispen furniture, since they almost never worked with wood. We think former owner was right about it and it is the change this table needed. It is simply stunning. It transforms in a high end and luxury object, but still remains its Dutch minimal roots.

Highly collectable Dutch mid-century furniture design

The glass top has some scratches. Rosewood is refinished. Table is in good condition.
