This round mosaic coffee table with its brass legs is the work of the German sculptor Berthold Müller. We think it is one of the most beautiful examples by Müller. With its brass frame it feels almost like an Italian design. The mosaic pattern on top is a fascinating work and will be an inspiring object in any modern home. A high end and unique piece of furniture of midcentury European design.

The coffee table is in good condition with patina to the brass.

Berthold Müller (10 February 1893 Oerlinghausen – 22 June 1979 Kressbronn) was a famous in German Sculptor. It was in the 1920s he devoted himself to religious art: commissions for sculptures on church buildings. Later in his career he opened his own mosaic workshop, which was unfortunately destroyed during World War 2. After the war Müller made important contributions to the revival of cultural life in the area he lived and worked. He re-opened his mosaic workshop and was part of many exhibitions with his work. Most famous are his beautiful mosaic coffee table. All made by hand.
