Pedestal “tulip” dining table by the Swedish designer Borge Johanson for his own company Johanson Design in Sweden. Made in 1968.

Beautiful round dining table in the style of the “Tulip” table by Eero Saarinen. This table has a metal foot with a white lacquered wooden top. Table is in good vintage condition with some cracks in the white lacquer on the top. Marked by maker.

This table will make a good alternative to the table by Knoll and Eero Saarinen and will look just a beautiful combined with the “Tulip” dining chair by Saarinen. We also think it will match with any wire frame designs like the dining chairs by Harry Bertoia, Charles and Ray Eames or Cees Braakman for Pastoe.

Börje Johanson was the founder of Johanson design in 1953. In 1960's they became well known for the Venus chair.
